AC Labels traces its roots back to 1985, during which times we have established a reputation as the supplier of choice for medium to high volume variable data barcode label & sticker production for discerning clients.

Capabilities
Our highly specialised presses incorporate conventional flexographic printing with leading edge high speed toner based digital printing equipment, enabling us to add sequential numbering and barcodes in one pass. Our versatile manufacturing equipment allows us to offer complex self adhesive label constructions and tags presented on roll, in sheets, in pads, or in fan-folded packs.
Quality
We hold a full UKAS certified ISO 9001:2008 accreditation for label printing. UKAS is the only government recognised accreditation body for certification in the UK and for public sector tenders, only UKAS accredited ISO 9001 certification is recognised.
100% barcode verification
AC Labels implement strict quality control measures throughout its process to ensure all of the barcodes we produce meet the exacting specifications laid out in the ANSI standard. Our presses incorporate the latest inline verification technology to ensure every single barcode we produce is verified to ensure it will read first time - every time. All of our scanning equipment has been independently tested and conforms to ISO/IEC15426-1/15426-2.
Ownership
AC Labels was acquired by The Mercian Labels Group in 2010 and now operates from a new factory in Derby in the heart of the UK. As a wholly owned subsidiary of the Mercian Labels Group, AC Labels benefits from larger corporate resources support in R&D, HR, strategy, governance and capital investment.Mercian Labels also manufacture a range of digitally produced self adhesive labels.
